Gerunds as objects of
verbs: like,love,hate,enjoy
Gerunds can be used after some verbs
in this way: verb + gerund.
I like listening to music. He enjoys
going to the movies.
You love dancing. She hates running.
Note Don’t use like,love, or hate in the in progressive tense
likes and dislike. Use the simple present tense instead.
